Dan Stewart or "Dinosaur Dan" as he liked to be called, found the bones of Missouri's first dinosaur in 1942 near the town of Glen Allen. This little known but important discovery has led to many more exciting finds and opened a window into Missouri's prehistoric past. Following are a few pictures of Dinosaur Dan in the field.
