Rhamphorynchus was a flying reptile that lived during the Jurassic period.
It was a skillful flyer and predator, using its long, pointed teeth for catching fish.
Some Rhamphorynchus fossils show the remains of fishes in their stomachs. Many of their skeletons have been discovered in the limestone quarries of Bavaria, Germany.
