Brent Ashcraft, amateur paleontologist, will present “Fossils of Southeast Missouri” at 2:00 pm, October 26. This slide show covers the history of fossils in SEMO from trilobites to dinosaurs – a look at some of the fossils found in Southeast Missouri and what they tell us about our past.
Children’s activities include a fossil dig, fossil scavenger hunt with fossil prizes, and other fossil related activities.
Bring your fossils for identification or come see our fossils and help us celebrate National Fossil Day, 2019.
